In Studio

These works were created in private spaces and/or public spaces as journal as record as responder as offering as confidant as impartial witness as accomplice or as companion to processing, experiencing, playing and/or remembering. They were developed as intuitive spontaneous improvisations or as slow building intentional movements. A number of the films have corresponding texts that were created before, in tandem or after the making of the visuals.  If you're curious about one's text, let me know.

on Instagram

Once I embraced Instagram, I've treated it like my own private stage, gallery, workshop space, screening room, public program platform, laboratory and free archival system. I release things out and see what resonates. But if nothing else, the act of posting is a reminder that I too existed and was present in the virtual, digital and physical worlds. A lot of what I create is only posted on Instagram (at the moment). Wander around, if you like.
